16th Annual Pretty Villages Tour

Wath Morris are delighted to announce the details of their 16th Annual Pretty Villages Tour taking place on Saturday 22nd June.  For the first time in 16 years Wath Morris will be performing as a mixed team including women.

Winter Programme

Wath Morris are now planning their winter programme.  This will include the annual Boxing Day Tour, a Fire Festival or two and Mumming tours.  
If you would like to be part of the team, we are recruiting now.  Come down to the Wath Rugby Club ant Tuesday from 8.00 - 10.00 pm.  It's free and we'd love to see you.

Raising the Rafters an Amazing Success

Saturday 10th November Wath Morris spent the day raising money for repairs to the roof of Wath Parish Church and were delighted to raise over £720.  The day started with morris dancing and a collection through the streets of Wath before dancing a “Jig-a-thon” in the town square.  This entailed performing as many one and two man morris jigs in one hour as possible (and raising sponsorship money...

The £10 Ring Meeting

In early 2010 a call went out from Brian Tasker, then squire of the Morris Ring for a team to organise an additional ring meeting for 2011.  As a team with a fairly robust membership, and having worked up a ring meeting plan only 3 years before, Wath Morris volunteered and were accepted as host for the 328th meeting of the Morris Ring.
